Terms of Service

In these documents, “GetMyData”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the GetMyData service at getmydata.io. You can reach us at any time: for requests and orders at service@getmydata.io, and for support, billing, refunds and privacy questions at support@getmydata.io.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the GetMyData website at getmydata.io and our email-based service (the “Service”). By verifying your email, requesting a sample, paying for an order or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years old; (b) have read and agree to these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorised to accept these Terms for yourself or the organisation you represent. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

2.1 What we do. GetMyData is an AI agent that collects publicly available information from websites at your request, organises it, and delivers it to you as a spreadsheet. You talk to us by email; there is no software to install and no account to create.

2.2 Nature of the Service. The Service is a digital service. Results are delivered electronically, by email, as a download link. Work on a paid order starts after payment is confirmed.

2.3 AI operation. Conversations and the work are handled by an AI agent that relies on third-party AI model providers and a third-party cloud data-collection platform. Their availability can affect the Service; we will tell you promptly about any delay to your order. A human operator may step in when needed or when you ask.

3. Your email identity

We identify you by your verified email address. Keep access to your mailbox secure; we treat instructions sent from it as yours. Tell us immediately at support@getmydata.io if you believe someone else is using it. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you may bind that business.

4. How an order works

1. Request. You describe the information you need by email. We may ask questions to understand it.
2. Free sample. Where possible we collect a small free sample so you can check it. We may limit the number of free samples per person, and some requests may go straight to a quote.
3. Quote. We email you one fixed price for the full job together with a description of what will be delivered (source website, fields, approximate number of records and delivery time). A quote is valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise.
4. Payment. If you accept, you pay through a secure checkout link. Work starts after payment is confirmed.
5. Delivery. We email you a link to your results. It stays active for 7 days; please download your file within that time.

5. Pricing, billing and payment

5.1 Price and one-time payments. Our current pricing is published on our Pricing page: the free sample costs nothing, and data orders start from a minimum price of $9.90 USD per order. The final price of each order depends on the amount of data and how difficult it is to collect, and is stated in your quote. Each order is a one-time purchase at the fixed price stated in your quote and shown at checkout. By completing checkout you authorise a single charge of that amount to your payment method. There are no subscriptions, no automatic renewals and no automatic top-ups. If you want data updated regularly, each update is quoted and paid as a separate order unless you explicitly agree otherwise in writing.

5.2 Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Waffo Pancake (“Waffo”), which is the seller of record for your purchase and handles checkout, payment processing, applicable sales taxes and VAT, invoices and refunds. Where a checkout page states that it is provided by Creem, Creem acts as Merchant of Record for that purchase in the same way. The Merchant of Record’s own buyer terms, shown at checkout, also apply to the payment.

5.3 Taxes. Unless stated otherwise, quoted prices exclude applicable taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax. These are calculated, collected and remitted by our Merchant of Record at checkout, where required by law.

5.4 Currency. Prices are quoted in the currency shown in your quote and at checkout. Your bank may apply its own conversion fees.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel an order at any time before you pay simply by not paying — there is no obligation. After paying, you can cancel by replying to your order email or writing to support@getmydata.io: if work has not started you receive a full refund; if work has started, see the Refund Policy. Because there are no subscriptions, there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is also shown at checkout. It includes a full refund for duplicate charges, for non-delivery and for results that clearly do not match the accepted quote, and it preserves any statutory rights you have.

8. Billing disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact support@getmydata.io before disputing it with your bank. We reply within 2 business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. Delivered data, AI and intellectual property

9.1 Deliverables. Once you have paid, you may use the delivered files for your own lawful purposes within section 10. We do not claim ownership of information collected from third-party websites; rights in that content remain with its owners, and you are responsible for complying with them.

9.2 Your inputs. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use what you send us only to provide the Service to you. We do not use your messages or requests to train AI models.

9.3 Accuracy. We collect information as it appears on public websites at the time of collection. Websites can be wrong, incomplete or change without notice, and AI processing can contain errors. Please review results before relying on them. Results are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

9.4 Our materials. Our website, brand and materials belong to us.

10. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you agree not to use the Service or its results to:

• collect private personal information, content behind a login or paywall, or LinkedIn data;
• send spam, harass, stalk, discriminate against, defraud or deceive anyone, or create fake reviews or fake engagement;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
• create malware, phishing content or attack tools, or bypass or interfere with security measures of our Service or of any website;
• train, fine-tune or benchmark a competing AI or machine-learning product using our conversations or outputs, or present AI-generated output as the work of a licensed professional where this could cause harm;
• resell or sub-license access to the Service without our prior written approval; or
• break any applicable law, regulation or card-network rule.

We may decline or stop any request that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.

11. Data, privacy and security

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy at https://getmydata.io/privacy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake (or Creem where its checkout is used), and is never stored on our servers. Delivered files are deleted from our storage 7 days after delivery.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

12.1 The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of AI output or collected data, except as described in your quote and our Refund Policy.

12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Term, suspension and termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or stop providing the Service to you if you materially breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it. If we stop a paid order for reasons that are not your fault, we refund the undelivered part (or the full amount if nothing was delivered). You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data by writing to support@getmydata.io.

14. Disputes

If you have a problem, please contact support@getmydata.io first so we can try to resolve it informally and quickly. Nothing in these Terms removes the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

15. General

We may update these Terms. We will email you about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect; changes do not affect orders already paid. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
