Acceptable Use Policy

In these documents, “GetMyData”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the GetMyData service at getmydata.io. You can reach us at any time: for requests and orders at service@getmydata.io, and for support, billing, refunds and privacy questions at support@getmydata.io.
GetMyData only collects information that is publicly available on the web, for lawful purposes. We review every request, and our AI agent will politely decline anything that falls under the rules below. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. We do not collect
- Private personal information about individuals, such as personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, home addresses, ID numbers, health, financial or other sensitive data, or profiles built to track specific people.
- Content behind a login, paywall or other access control, including private groups, member areas and accounts, or anything that requires us to bypass security measures or CAPTCHAs.
- LinkedIn data of any kind.
- Content where collecting or reusing it would clearly infringe copyright or other rights, such as copying an entire site’s articles, images or media for republication.
2. We do not help with
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or building contact lists of private individuals.
- Harassment, stalking, doxxing, intimidation, or targeting any person or group.
- Fake reviews, fake likes, followers or views, manipulating votes, rankings or prices, or any form of fraud or deception.
- Impersonating real people, brands or organisations, or passing off collected or AI-generated content as something it is not.
- Malware, phishing, hacking, account takeover, or any attempt to bypass or disrupt the security of a website or service.
- Discrimination, or decisions about individuals’ employment, housing, credit or insurance based on collected data.
- Anything illegal in your country or the country of the source website, anything that breaks sanctions laws, or anything that breaks card-network rules.
3. How we collect
We collect at a gentle pace that does not disrupt the websites we visit, and we do not attempt to break or bypass their security.
4. How we review requests
Every request is checked against this policy before any sample is collected. Our AI agent declines requests that clearly break it and refers unclear cases to a human operator before any work starts.
5. If a request is declined or misuse is found
If a request is not allowed, we will tell you why and, where possible, suggest an acceptable alternative. If we discover that a paid order breaks this policy, we may stop the work; refunds in that case are at our discretion. Repeated or serious misuse leads to permanent refusal of service and, where required by law, may be reported to the authorities.
6. Reporting
If you believe GetMyData has collected something it should not have, or you are a website owner with a concern, please contact support@getmydata.io. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and act on them promptly.
